Colwyn Model Railway Club occasionally host events including open days and exhibitions. Whether you're an experienced modeller or simply curious about the hobby, our events offer a great opportunity to visit the club, see our layouts in action and meet fellow railway enthusiasts. As events are held on an occasional basis, be sure to check this page regularly for the latest announcements and upcoming dates.
Clubroom Open Day
Saturday 10th October 2026
Colwyn Model Railway Club will be opening the doors to our Clubroom on Saturday 10th October 2026!
Between 10am and 4pm join us to see our collection of operational and work-in progress Model Railway layouts in 00, O, N, 009 and TT:120 scales, pick up a bargain from the club sales stand and find out more about your local club. Light refreshments will also be available!
Admission is free, but donations to support the work of the club are welcome.
Our clubrooms are located at Silverthorn Hall, Groes Lwyd, Abergele, LL22 7SU. Parking outside the hall is extremely limited, to respect our neighbours, please park in one of the nearby free carparks.
