Exhibition Report: CMRC Abergele 2025

Colwyn Model Railway Club marked a successful return to hosting exhibitions with Abergele Model Railway Show held on Saturday 6th December.

The damp and cold weather didn’t dampen spirits as over 200 people attended Yr Hen Ysgol in Abergele to see 12 high quality layouts, alongside retail and club sales stands, topped off with light refreshments. Visitors were very complimentary about the range of layouts on display, and many people walked out with some bargains too, as well as wanting to find out more about the club and what we do.

What’s even more impressive is the whole event was planned in little over 12 weeks, coinciding with the clubs move to new premises, for that we must Club Treasurer and Secretary - Mick and Mike for all their efforts. Thanks must of course go to club members and their partners, family and relatives who offered their layouts for display, helped with parking car park, ticket sales, club sales and refreshments, alongside our external exhibitors, traders and promotional team from Fffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways  for supporting CMRC with this exhibition. Lastly thank you to everyone who attended on the day and made it such a success.
